MY YOUTH

​I first touched the piano at the age of five – too young to be admitted to the music school Johann Sebastian Bach in the former DDR at that time, but determined to play. This gave me the opportunity for an entrance exam for particularly gifted students, and three months later I became a student of the J.S. Bach music school. This determination has remained with me through every chapter of my creative life.
MY MUSICAL STYLE

​Trained on classical foundations and shaped by personal highs and lows, I became a composer who blends orchestral richness with electronic textures and ethnic influences. My music is emotional, multifaceted, and narrative – it is designed to elevate the moving image and bring out its emotional core.
MUSICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

​After my classical piano degree, I discovered the world of improvisation and composition through songwriting and band work. The founding of my first band, Sonoris Breeze, from 2005 to 2008, allowed me to combine cinematic harmonies with pop structures and ignited my passion for storytelling through new sounds and melodies.
HOW I BECAME A COMPOSER

​AIn 2006, I scored my first commercial film – an image film for the brand Ehrmann. That project changed everything. Since then, I’ve composed music for documentaries, horror films (Zombies from Outer Space), and international feature films like Once Again (2018). Along the way, I completed a formal degree in film scoring in Bonn, and I continue to study piano with a focus on romantic and impressionist repertoire – Chopin, Brahms, Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Schubert.

​My approach to composition is primarily intuitive and emotional. There is no secret recipe or the perfect chord progression, and no AI brings music to life. It is solely the symbiosis between the composer, the director, and their images, their film. From this, something truly wonderful can emerge.
